Custom Planting

Our planting services starts long before the planter enters a field. Its starts months before during the off season in the shop with thorough, detailed maintenance. All openers, scrapers, points, shoes, closers, bearings, etc are examined and routinely refreshed. All parallel arms, air lines, hydraulic hoses, wire harnesses, etc are inspected and refurbished as needed. Also during this same time, guidance equipment is setup and readied. Field boundaries are digitally mapped, and guidance lines to be used in season are setup. This ensures swift operation and efficient use of seed. Once the weather warms up, the tractor and planter are completely calibrated and put through their paces. With no seed in the meters, the planter pulled through the soil, "mock planting", to ensure all systems operate as indented. Finally as the planting window approaches, an order of operation is established, and the planter is setup for the first crop. Once in the field, as anticipated day one of planting is full of digging, making adjustments, and repeating. This cycle is then maintained throughout the season, always adjusting to the changing conditions. Once the final seed is planted, the drone takes to the sky. From a bird's eye view, operational performance is then evaluated, and the initial growing stages are monitored. Last, all planting data is collected, organized, and distributed (as requested).
